3RD EDITION OF MARITIME INFORMATION SHARING WORKSHOP MARITIME SECURITY SEMINAR GURUGRAM, INDIA

1. The 3rd Maritime Information Sharing Workshop (MISW-25) was held in Gurugram from 03-05 Nov 2025.
2. The workshop was hosted by the Information Fusion Centre – Indian Ocean Region (IFC-IOR).
3. 57 participants from 30 countries attended MISW-25.
4. The workshop focused on enhancing real-time coordination and information sharing in the Indian Ocean Region.
5. A Table Top Exercise (TTX) was conducted using the indigenously developed MANTRA software on 05 Nov 2025.
6. Vice Admiral Tarun Sobti emphasized collaboration and interoperability in addressing maritime challenges.
7. Mr. Sushil Mansing Khopde highlighted India’s maritime initiatives and efforts to strengthen regional maritime security.
8. Rear Admiral Nirbhay Bapna stressed the need for synergy among regional information-sharing frameworks.
