Overview The Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare implemented Special Campaign 5.0 , an initiative by DARPG (Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances) , aimed at minimizing pendency in government offices. The campaign focused on the disposal of E-waste and involved comprehensive cleanliness drives. Key Developments Grievance Redressal More than 1,59,000 public grievances were disposed of during the campaign. The department utilizes CPGRAMS (Centralized Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System) for citizens to lodge complaints. Dedicated portals for flagship schemes like PM KISAN and PMFBY (Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana) have been developed for grievance redressal. The Agriculture Minister reviews the quality of disposal of farmer grievances received on these portals. Krishi Rakshak Portal provides a one-stop platform for farmers to resolve grievances related to PMFBY . Cleanliness and Waste Management Comprehensive cleanliness drives were undertaken in the Headquarters and subordinate/attached offices across the country. Tree plantation and cleaning of public places were conducted by many organizations under the Department. Farm Machinery Training and Testing Institutes created models of equipment and machinery used by farmers (e.g., drones, tractors) using e-waste materials. An exhibition of these models was organized during a workshop, and the efforts were appreciated by the Secretary, DARPG . Revenue of over Rs. 40 lakh ( Rs. 40,38,150/- ) was generated through the auction of scrap and condemned materials.
