Key Developments Online Services Promotion The RTO in Mysuru offers over 26 services online, including: Driving Licence (DL) Learner's Licence Registration (LLR) Vehicle-related services: transfer of ownership, change of address, tax payment, hypothecation agreement and cancellation, tax clearance certificate, duplicate registration certificate, and renewal of registration certificate. Vehicle owners are advised to update their mobile numbers, submit applications via Aadhaar OTP , and upload necessary documents to avail these services. Centralized Printing of DL and RC The printing of Driving Licenses (DL) and Registration Certificates (RC) has been centralized. Previously, these documents were printed at the RTO office, but now they will be printed at a central office and distributed through the RTO. The RTO aims to streamline the card printing and distribution system and distribute the pending 8,000 cards soon. Automatic Driving Testing Track DL aspirants will undergo testing at the Automatic Driving Testing Track in Mysuru, which operates without human intervention. This ensures transparency and reduces the possibility of bias. Automatic Vehicle Testing Center An automatic testing center for vehicles over 15 years old is being established. This center will use machines and technology to test vehicles, eliminating human intervention. Vehicles failing the test will have their Fitness Certificate applications rejected.
