From 6 August 2026, the DGFT has opened its “Source from India” feature on the Trade Connect platform to DPIIT‑recognised start‑ups, granting them a special “Start‑up Badge” and allowing early‑stage exporters with a valid IEC to showcase their products globally, thereby boosting India’s innovation‑driven export agenda.
The DGFT has widened the eligibility of its “Source from India” service on the Trade Connect e‑platform. From 6 August 2026, start‑ups recognised by the DPIIT can create dedicated microsites and will be marked with a unique “Start‑up Badge”.
