Overview The Food Corporation of India (FCI) has established a dedicated Pavilion at the India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025 , held at Hall No. 6, Bharat Mandapam, from 14th to 27th November 2025 . This pavilion showcases India's progress towards a resilient and modern food security framework, aligning with the vision of Viksit Bharat @ 2047 . Key Developments FCI Pavilion Highlights The Pavilion embodies the spirit of “किसानों का सम्मान, भारतीय खाद्य निगम का अभिमान” and “एक भारत, श्रेष्ठ भारत” . It traces India's foodgrain journey from traditional storage to advanced technological solutions like SILOs . The exhibit demonstrates FCI’s commitment to national foodgrain sufficiency and a transition towards a quality-driven, inclusive, and sustainable food management system. Ministerial Visit The Union Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution & New and Renewable Energy, Shri Pralhad Joshi , visited the FCI Pavilion on 18.11.2025 . He appreciated FCI's initiatives in promoting the Open Market Sale Scheme-Small/Bulk (OMSS) to stabilize commodity markets and ensure food security. Retail Initiative The Pavilion features retail sales of FCI rice sourced from six states: Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Punjab, and Haryana . The rice is available at ₹28.90 per kg and ₹30.90 per kg . Approximately 1000 Kgs of rice has been purchased by visitors in the first 4 days.
