Encroachers have been directed to vacate the land. Lack of Action and Incorrect Land Records Despite letters sent to the Warangal District Collector since 2022 , effective action to remove the encroachments or safeguard the fort lands has not been taken. Mr. Reddy also pointed out that forest land within the area has been incorrectly recorded as government land instead of ASI property. In October last year , ASI officials requested joint field inspections from the District Collector . Current Status and Central Government Initiatives Recent inspections revealed that portions of the earthen wall surrounding the fort have been encroached upon for new constructions. The fort is a popular tourist destination, and the Central government has recently installed a sound-and-light show at the site. The government is also taking steps to protect the monument.
