LOK SABHA SPEAKER TO INAUGURATE 22ND ANNUAL CONFERENCE OF CPA INDIA REGION ZONE-III IN KOHIMA

1. The 22nd Annual Conference of the CPA India Region Zone-III will be inaugurated on 10 November 2025 in Kohima, Nagaland.
2. The conference theme is “Policy, Progress & People: Legislatures as Catalysts of Change.”
3. The conference will be attended by Lok Sabha Speaker Shri Om Birla, Chief Minister of Nagaland Dr. Neiphiu Rio, and Deputy Chairman, Rajya Sabha, Shri Harivansh.
4. The two-day conference will take place from 10–11 November 2025.
5. Zone III of CPA India Region consists of 8 States of the Northeastern region.
6. Sub-themes of the conference include: Role of Legislatures in Achieving Viksit Bharat and Climate Change in the Light of Recent Cloudbursts and Landslides in Parts of the Northeast Region.
