MAJ GEN YOUSEF MAAYOUF SAEED AL HALLAMI, COMMANDER, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES LAND FORCES ARRIVES IN INDIA

2. The visit aimed to enhance bilateral military cooperation between India and the UAE.
3. Maj Gen Yousef Maayouf Saeed Al Hallami received a briefing on Operation Sindoor.
4. He was briefed on India’s defence capabilities and Artificial Intelligence roadmap for the Indian Army by DG Information System and the Army Design Bureau.
5. On 28 October 2025, he laid a wreath at the National War Memorial.
6. He visited DRDO and received a briefing on indigenous weapon and equipment platforms.
7. He interacted with Dr Samir V Kamat, Secretary, Department of Defence R&D and Chairman of DRDO.
8. Discussions were held with representatives of Indian Defence Industries on issues of mutual interest.
