Raksha Mantri Flags Off Shaurya Vijay Yatra – 13‑Day Motorcycle Expedition to Kargil War Memorial (2026)

Overview The Ministry of Defence on 14 July 2026 launched the Shaurya Vijay Yatra . The ride starts from the National War Memorial and will end at the Kargil War Memorial in Dras, Ladakh on 26 July, the day of Kargil Vijay Diwas . Twenty‑eight riders – serving and retired defence personnel, their families and civilians – will cover about 1,900 km through the Himalayas.
