Union Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman inaugurates newly-constructed Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST) Bhawan, in Ghaziabad, today

1. Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman inaugurated the new CGST Bhawan in Ghaziabad on October 24, 2025.
2. The CGST Bhawan in Ghaziabad cost ₹116 crore to construct.
3. The new building houses CGST Ghaziabad Commissionerate, CGST Audit Commissionerate, CGST Appeals Commissionerate, and Pay & Accounts Office.
4. The complex is spread across 2.21 acres and includes two basements and seven floors.
5. The building has parking for nearly 300 vehicles.
6. The CGST Bhawan has been awarded a Five-Star rating by GRIHA and won the 2024 GRIHA Exemplary Performance Award.
