✓Eligibility Criteria

  • Rural poor households identified through the Socio-Economic and Caste Census (SECC) or Participatory Identification of Poor (PIP).
  • Women members from identified households who are willing to form or join Self-Help Groups (SHGs).
  • Special focus is maintained on households belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and persons with disabilities.
  • One woman member from each identified poor household is prioritized for inclusion in the SHG network.

▶Application Process

  • Potential beneficiaries form or join a Self-Help Group (SHG) within their respective villages.
  • The SHG undergoes a mandatory period of regular meetings, savings, and internal lending to establish group discipline.
  • The group applies for a Revolving Fund (RF) or Community Investment Fund (CIF) through the Block Mission Management Unit.
  • The SHG prepares a Micro-Credit Plan to access formal bank credit and financial services under the scheme.
