About the Scheme

The Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE) is a flagship scheme of the Department of Science & Technology (DST) aimed at attracting talented youth to the study of science and building a robust national R&D ecosystem from school-level projects to post-doctoral fellowships.

Target Beneficiaries: Students, schools, and researchers from school-level to post-doctoral stages, with a focus on rural STEM talent and priority states like Uttar Pradesh.
