Clarification on the Department of Commerce’s support to the organization of the Bharat International Rice Conference (BIRC) 2025

1. The Department of Commerce is providing non-financial support to the Bharat International Rice Conference (BIRC) 2025.
2. BIRC 2025 will be held at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi on October 30–31, 2025.
3. The Indian Rice Exporters’ Federation (IREF) is organizing BIRC 2025.
4. India's rice exports in 2024-25 are approximately US$ 12.95 Billion.
5. APEDA is supporting the event by involving relevant ministries and departments to promote rice exports.
6. The Rice Exporters Association, Chhattisgarh (TREA-CG) and The Rice Exporters Association (TREA), Kakinada are co-partnering in the event.
