Overview On November 3, 2025 , Dr. Jitendra Singh , MOS (PP), inaugurated a Mega Pensioners' Camp organized by the State Bank of India (SBI) at the NDMC Convention Hall, Delhi . This event was part of the nationwide Digital Life Certificate (DLC) Campaign 4.0 . The campaign aims to promote digital empowerment among pensioners, enhancing their ease of living through digital modes of Life Certificate submission. Key Developments Digital Life Certificate (DLC) Campaign 4.0 Duration: The campaign runs from November 1st to 30th, 2025 . Objective: To reach pensioners in the remotest corners of the country. Collaboration: The Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare is collaborating with various stakeholders, including Pension Disbursing Banks , India Post Payments Bank , Pensioners’ Welfare Associations , CGDA , EPFO , DoT , Railways , UIDAI , and MeitY . Mega Camp Highlights DLC Generation: More than 500 DLCs were generated during the camp. Face Authentication: Dr. Jitendra Singh demonstrated the Face Authentication technique for DLC generation. Pensioner Interaction: Pensioners expressed satisfaction with the digital modes of Life Certificate submission. Technological Advancement The Face Authentication technique is highlighted as a game-changer, enabling ‘Anytime Anywhere’ DLC generation. This technology allows pensioners to submit their Life Certificates conveniently through smartphones, eliminating the need to visit banks or pension disbursing authorities.
