Shakti Scheme Under the Shakti scheme , 18,03,04,248 women availed free bus travel in the district between June 2023 and November 2025 , incurring an expenditure of ₹492.93 crore . There is a need to improve bus services on the Bengaluru–Mysuru route to avoid inconvenience to passengers, students, and college-goers. Gruha Jyothi Scheme The Gruha Jyothi scheme has covered 4,98,144 beneficiaries in the district. From August 2023 to November 2025 , a total of 549.17 million units of electricity were consumed, with ₹491.19 crore released as subsidy. Yuva Nidhi Scheme Under the Yuva Nidhi scheme , 8,296 beneficiaries have registered in the district, with ₹19.29 crore released up to September 2025 . Payments for October 2025 will be made soon.
