1. SHINE Open School Day 13‑14 अगस्त 2026 को दो दिनों के लिए आयोजित किया गया।
2. यह ICMR National Institute of Traditional Medicine (ICMR‑NITM), बेलगावी द्वारा आयोजित किया गया, जिसमें MRHRU Sirwar, रायचूर में एक समानांतर सत्र भी था।
3. लगभग 1,200 छात्रों ने भाग लिया – बेलगावी के 13 स्कूलों/PU कॉलेजों से 1,000 से अधिक और रायचूर के लगभग 200 गाँव के छात्रों ने।

5. गतिविधियों में मार्गदर्शित प्रयोगशाला यात्राएँ, व्यावहारिक प्रयोग और बायोमेडिकल रिसर्च टूल्स के लाइव डेमॉन्स्ट्रेशन शामिल थे।
6. सार्वजनिक‑स्वास्थ्य समस्याओं पर राष्ट्रीय‑स्तर की कॉन्सेप्ट‑नोट प्रतियोगिता 11 अगस्त 2026 को शुरू की गई, जो 11 सितंबर 2026 तक सबमिशन के लिए खुली थी।

Background

ICMR is the apex body for biomedical research and health policy in India. By taking science to schools, the SHINE programme aligns with the government's push to strengthen the health ecosystem, promote scientific temper and create a pipeline of future researchers.
