Shri Birla will also inaugurate an Exhibition and release a Souvenir on the occasion. Governor of Andhra Pradesh, Shri S. Abdul Nazeer; Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu; Deputy Chairman, Rajya Sabha, Shri Harivansh; Chairperson, Parliamentary Committee on Empowerment of Women, Smt. D. Purandeswari; Speaker, Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly, Shri C. Ayyannapatrudu; and Chairman, Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council, Shri Koyye Moshenu Raju will address the Inaugural Session. Ministers of the Government of Andhra Pradesh, Members of the Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council, and Chairpersons and Members of Committees on Empowerment of Women from Parliament and State/UT Legislatures will participate in the event. The two-day Conference (14–15 September 2025) will witness the participation of over 100 delegates from across the country. The theme of the Conference is “Empowering Women to Face Challenges of Emerging Technologies.” “Women Led Development for Viksit Bharat” and two sub themes namely (i) ‘Gender Responsive Budgeting’ and (ii) ‘Empowering Women to Face Challenges of Emerging Technologies’ have also been included in the agenda . The deliberations will focus on India’s digital transformation, opportunities and risks of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Blockchain, Robotics, Quantum Computing, Biotechnology, and Cybersecurity, and their implications for women. Special emphasis will be laid on bridging the gender digital divide, increasing women’s representation in STEM fields, ensuring digital safety, and strengthening women’s role in entrepreneurship and innovation. The Conference will also examine strategies for women’s inclusion in emerging technology-driven economies in order to achieve the vision of a Developed Bharat by 2047. The Valedictory Session on 15 September 2025 will be addressed by Governor of Andhra Pradesh, Shri S. Abdul Nazeer; Lok Sabha Speaker, Shri Om Birla; Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha, Shri Harivansh; Chairperson, Parliamentary Committee on Empowerment of Women, Smt. D. Purandeswari; and Speaker of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly, Shri C. Ayyannapatrudu. The Vote of Thanks will be delivered by the Deputy Speaker of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly.
