Dhanya Uthappa, chairperson, Devdan Foundation Learning Centre, and Kotera Devaiah, trustee, stated that more than 100 candidates participated. Participants interested in entrepreneurship also received information on government schemes and mentorship to help them start their own ventures. This aligns with the government's focus on promoting self-reliance and economic empowerment, relevant for UPSC GS3 (Economy).
Training and Assessment
APD coordinator Santosh Chacko mentioned that selected candidates will undergo an assessment camp, followed by a 45-day free training session. “We identify their abilities, provide the required training, and then match them with suitable job opportunities,” he said. This structured approach ensures that individuals are well-prepared for employment, addressing skill gaps and promoting effective job placement.
